Ampawa Floating Market & Tha Kha Tour
The Tha Kha Floating Market appears to be more authentic dues to its smaller amount of tourists compared to other floating markets in Samut Songkram. It offers an opportunity to enjoy the displays of exotic fruit and vegetables along with local delicacies – all sold from small rowing boats. Originally, Tha Kha only open six days a month in accordance to the lunar calendar, now it is also open on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Sites within the area that should not be missed include Bang Kung temples, Palm Sugar Village, and the evening floating market - Amphawa. |
